In 1964, when she married Mr. jean-Jacques Sioen, she fully committed to the development of the technical textiles specialist as we know the company today. The group has a turnover of +363 € million and employs 4 000 people in 53 companies, spread over 23 countries. The group has always been a growth company and accelerated again last year. Since 2016, the group acquired 6 companies that boost the growth.
Due to Mrs. Sioen’s hard work, Sioen has become a world leader in the design and manufacture of high-quality protective clothing. Since 2014, Mrs. Sioen is non-executive Director of the Sioen Industries group. A stock quoted company of which the family Sioen holds +62% of the shares.
