European Master Batch N.V., part of the Sioen Industries Group and active in the production of colour dispersions and inks, has recently successfully completed the acquisition of ISL-Chemie, based in Kürten (Germany). With around 80 employees, ISL-Chemie specializes in the production of pigment pastes for polyurethane (PU) applications and in-mould coatings (IMC). These are mainly used in Automotive, Footwear, Construction, Lifestyle, CASE (coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers), and more. Through this acquisition, Sioen strengthens its position in the pigment pastes market and creates additional opportunities for sustainable growth and innovation.
The acquisition fits within Sioen’s long-term strategy and allows the group to bring together complementary expertise, technology, and talent. Customers can now count on even better support with a broader and more high-performance portfolio. In addition, the acquisition opens up new opportunities in the pigment pastes and coatings markets.
