Sioen Industries, as part of the Consortium 'Seyntex-Sioen-Crye Precision', participated in the ceremonial presentation of a Belgian Defence Combat System (BDCS)-outfit for Brussels' historic Manneken Pis statue on Wednesday, May 7th.
The official ceremony was attended by representatives from the SSC Consortium, Belgian Defence, and 'De Orde van de Vrienden van Manneken Pis.' The BDCS outfit, originally designed by the Sioen team, is a miniature adaptation of the combat system currently supplied to Belgian military personnel.
The SSC Consortium Belgian Defence Combat System (BDCS) continues to deliver high-performance protective solutions through its contract with Belgian Defence. Sioen's participation in the consortium leverages the company's extensive expertise in technical textiles and protective clothing development.
