Sioen PPC previews new collection “Multinorm UP”

Ardooie, 5 November 2024 – At the Expoprotection and Arbeitsschutz Aktuell trade fairs, Sioen PPC offered an exclusive preview of its upcoming Multinorm UP collection, set to launch in Spring 2025. “Multinorm ‘UP’ stands for the comprehensive UP-date of several of our well-known protective clothing solutions”, states Bart Vervaecke CEO of Sioen Apparel.

What’s UP?

Founded in the late 1960, Sioen has established a long-standing expertise in providing certified protective clothing solutions. “Our reliable, certified protection, high-quality fabrics, trusted features,… have long been appreciated by our clients” explains Johan Peirlinck, Product & Development Director of Sioen PPC. “Yet, to continue to meet their needs, it was time for a transformation”. Building on a solid foundation, the new multinorm workwear items preserve what was already great, but present a triple update in terms of fabrics, fittings and look.

UP-to-date fabrics, fitting & look

With updated fabrics, an upgraded fitting and an upscaled look, the new Multinorm UP collection shows a particular focus on a more contemporary design, a more fitted silhouette and an evolution towards the use of more recycled and sustainable materials.

All UP fabrics belong to the renowned Sio-Safe™ family of fabrics, specifically developed for multi-risk protection. Where possible, the new collection has made the switch to an ECO variant, using recycled polyester and Tencel™ Lyocell. Additionally, the new collection prioritises eco-friendliness through features such as stitched retroreflective stripes and easy-to-repair front zippers on work jackets.

The updated fitting includes slimmer arms, waists and legs, all the while maintaining the same excellent protection. Finally, the 2 new UP looks, featuring stylish colours, will perfectly add UP to any companies’ professionalism.

Proven high-level protection

In environments that are subject to multiple risks, workers require high-quality clothes that protect against all those threats. Sioen’s multinorm protective clothing significantly reduces the chances of serious injuries in the event of an accident. These multinorm products meet the latest and most stringent standards for flame resistance, antistatic properties, welding, electric arc flash protection and chemical exposure. Several items also provide high-visibility protection in accordance with EN ISO 20471 or enhanced visibility complying with the EN 17353 medium risk standard.
