This year, we will not only present our innovations at this fair; we will also launch our revamped website. And of course Techtextil is also the opportunity for us to meet our customers and suppliers.
At Sioen, we traditionally sign present for Techtextil. As a market leader in technical textiles, we are happy to have our booth at the heart of the hall. You will find us at stand C31-C41, centrally located in hall 11.0. We will highlight our strengths: our high-quality products, our ability to think along with you, our vertical integration and the anchoring of our production facilities in Europe - hence the slogan 'European producer of technical textiles'. It is thanks to these elements that we can successfully serve diverse sectors - from transport, over general industry, to construction.
We share the booth with our nine brands:
- Sioen: on the occasion of the fair, we are launching our brand new website. On sioen.com, you will from now on get an even clearer picture of all our activities. You will find an overview of our products and their applications, and be efficiently directed to the websites of our brands. Ease of use goes hand in hand with a fresh look, which better reflects our commitment to continuous innovation.
- Sioline offers coated fabrics for various sectors, such as transport, tents and halls, tensile architecture and biogas plants. At Techtextil, Sioline will unveil its brand new logo, seamlessly merging the brand's rich history and expertise with its future-proof vision on its six main applications. This rebranding is supported by a brand new website, which you can visit at sioline.com. At Techtextil, you will also discover the numerous new additions to the Sioline range, including: textiles for boat covers, tear-resistant truck covers, glamping tents and fire containment.
- Veranneman Technical Textiles produces high-quality industrial open-structure fabrics, mainly scrims. Applications are varied, but are mainly in the construction sector.
- Sioen Technical Weaving makes fabrics from monofilaments, multifilaments, spun fibres and natural fibres. Its latest flagship product is biodegradable tea bags.
- James Dewhurst produces flexible reinforcement textiles. At the fair, it will showcase its new product Dewforge, a fabric made of self-reinforcing polypropylene (SRPP). In doing so, the company is responding to the increasing demand for lightweight cost-effective composite materials.
- Sioen Technical Felt, Tessilbrenta and Manifattura Fontana manufacture technical felt and non-wovens which are mainly used in geotextiles to reinforce soil layers and prevent erosion. Other applications include drainage and water management, and membrane protection. You often find these products in road construction and landfill construction.
- Coatex is an expert in keders, pond liners, automotive applications, cutting and camouflage printing of technical textiles. By combining existing expertise with investment in new equipment, Coatex can propose a new offering for military applications: camouflage netting for the protection of military personnel and their equipment.
- Greentexx develops all-in-one textile composites specifically to create living walls with plants. It offers both small mobile greenwall units for indoor use (with a positive effect on acoustics, air quality and atmosphere), and large surfaces for facades of companies, schools,... A mobile unit will be on display at Techtextil.
- Sioen Fabrics is the market reference in mattresses for the healthcare and prison sectors. Its products are fire-resistant, easily washable and have a long lifespan. Sioen Fabrics also manufactures fabrics for rainwear and stretch tents.
