We were honoured to welcome Flemish Minister-President Matthias Diependaele to our headquarters in Ardooie, Belgium! This visit provided us with an excellent opportunity to showcase what makes Sioen a global reference in the textile industry.
During the visit, our team demonstrated how Sioen continues to drive innovation within Flanders and beyond. We presented our capabilities and shared insights into our work in technical textiles and protective clothing.
Next to that, there was a constructive roundtable discussion between Minister-President Diependaele, our team, and sector organisation Fedustria. The discussion focused on three crucial themes that shape our industry's future: energy, trade and the labour market. These topics are not only vital for our industry but also have significant implications for the broader Flemish economy. We appreciated the Minister-President's genuine attention and engagement as we shared our experiences and insights on these important matters.
